Renski is a sonic curator, DJ and, above all, a music enthusiast. Storytelling is at the heart of her sets, whether through her radio mix show frekuensia or as part of BULGAR. Her selections move effortlessly between genres, with a focus on sculpting a mood and taking listeners somewhere new.
Queer Dreams is a small, trans-led organisation based in Rotterdam, focused on the queer Caribbean community in the Netherlands. They create safer spaces for Queer Caribbean people of all genders and queer identities, celebrating the different parts of who we are without having to hide any of them.
A Night w/ is our weekly Friday night series at OASE. Every week, we hand over the decks to a different DJ collective, selector or musical community. No two editions are the same. One week you might find yourself dancing to Turkish grooves, the next diving into a completely different corner of the musical universe. The common thread? Summer energy, open-minded sounds and the kind of Strandtent atmosphere that makes you want to stay for just one more track.

Om het einde van de zomer en de start van Pride Week Rotterdam te vieren, nodigt Queer Dreams je uit voor een avond vol Caribische tunes, goede vibes en de sounds van DJ Renski in OASE’s Strandtent.
Verwacht een relaxte avond vol Caribische sounds, gecureerd door DJ Renski. Van bachata en reggaeton tot dancehall en dembow: haar sets bewegen moeiteloos tussen verschillende genres en moods, met storytelling als rode draad. Pak een drankje, daag iemand uit voor een potje domino of schaak, of zoek een plekje om van de muziek en het uitzicht over de Maas te genieten terwijl je je even rechtstreeks naar het Caribisch gebied waant.

Haar selecties bewegen moeiteloos tussen verschillende genres, met altijd de sfeer als uitgangspunt en de focus op het meenemen van haar publiek naar een andere plek.
